Betty Franklin, RN, Coach & Mentor

Both self-awareness and loving yourself help to ensure we’re building healthy and loving relationships with others. Let Betty Franklin, RN  help you heal your relationship with yourself so you can Live Life Well with others!

Betty has served people well for more than 30 years, working on the frontlines in the Health Care industry. Part of the team at SickKids, Mississauga Hospital (Trillium Health Partners) South Muskoka Memorial Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital, Betty learned first hand about the importance of “whole person wellness.”

This is Betty when she began her nursing career.

Her extensive RN experience, coupled with her personal journey through a mental illness diagnosis, resulted in a transition from providing critical care management and support throughout the experience of illness or disease, to one where Betty attacks disease on its true “frontline” – providing education and motivation that helps you stay well and prevent the onset of disease in the first place. Now, as a nurse in independent practice, Betty offers a distinctly unique health promotion program that offers a holistic approach to living life well and staying healthy without an over-reliance on prescription drugs!

A successful published author, Betty helps individuals, corporate employees, teachers and other frontline health care workers through one on one coaching, inspiring and thought provoking presentations, workshops and retreats and through her book “GUTS, Get Uncomfortable to Succeed,” Embracing Health, Balance and Abundance, a must read for those seeking to take charge of their lives. She is passionate about creating “whole person wellness” and is waiting to help you transform your life from good, to better, to best!

Betty strives to challenge her clients to be accountable for their lives. To encourage them to take charge of their health, learn to be self-aware, all while supporting and guiding them to live their life well.

When Betty isn’t helping her clients reach their highest potential with their health and wellness, you can find her curled up enjoying some quiet reading time, or taking a stroll outside!

Betty is a long-standing member of RNAO and a member of the Community Health Nurses’ Initiative Group (CHNIG) as well as the Independent Practice Nurses Interest Group (IPNIG).  Throughout her varied and extensive career, Betty also found time to volunteer with and to support a number of agencies in various capacities.
