Starting a healthy conversation around significant and vital topics involves information gathering; information that enables participants to discuss the issues with up-to-date facts and to make informed decisions. A good conversation involves the shifting of ideas and being open about thoughts and feelings in a give and take process. They are about learning from others, and about pushing through the hard stuff together to create conditions for something better and for something new.
This Saturday we are hosting a workshop that’s about pushing through the hard stuff related to death and dying. Its intent is to help you open conversations with the people important to you, so there are no surprises and no secrets when you die. Its intent is to help you make decisions. Hopefully it will take away some of the fear many feel around the topic of death and dying. Hopefully it will enhance not only your life, but how you experience the end of your life and how your family moves on.
Come, join Dr. Rima Thapar and Betty Franklin this Saturday, November 16th, in this interactive, thought-provoking workshop focused on issues related to death and dying. Come, join the conversation as we:
If you are a caregiver, an older adult, a child of an older adult, dealing with a life-threatening illness, preparing your will, preplanning your funeral or simply seeking to open the conversation with a loved one, this workshop is for you.
